Echobelly formed in 1992, known for blending indie pop with alternative rock and punk influences, fronted by vocalist Sonya Madan and guitarist Glenn Johansson. The band rose to prominence in the mid-1990s, gaining praise from Morrissey and achieving mainstream success with albums like Everyone’s Got One and On, and singles like “Great Things” and “King of the Kerb”. After going on hiatus, the band regrouped in 2015 and released a new album in 2017
